The Veliero bookcase by Cassina redefines the concept of balance. It is a manifesto-piece of Franco Albini’s visionary work. This double-sided bookcase features solid wood pillars. Its use is flexible. It can serve as a room divider or as an “equipped window” overlooking modern living spaces. The master architect created only one original piece in 1940. It was the centerpiece of the living room in his Milanese home on Via De Togni. Unfortunately, the prototype was destroyed twenty years later.
