Veliero

Bookstores
The iconic Veliero bookcase reintroduces the concept of balance, becoming a symbolic example of Franco Albini’s visionary work. Given its versatile use, this double-sided bookcase with solid wood uprights can serve as a partition in the middle of a room or as a ‘furnished window’ on new scenarios in contemporary living. The maestro made a single example of this iconic bookcase in 1940 as the spatial focus of the living room in his home in Via De Togni, Milan, a prototype that was destroyed 20 years later.
