Inspired by 1970s aesthetics, the Libra armchair designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri features overlapping soft volumes of seat, backrest, and headrest upholstered in leather or fabric, embellished with precise stitching at the center of the cushions that enhance the tailored, three-dimensional effect. This interplay of volumetric balance also gives it its name: Libra means “balance” in Latin. The refined gathering along the entire perimeter of the padded volumes of the bergère, armchair, ottoman, and dining chair is finished with piping that calibrates the soft folds of the upholstery and enhances its sophisticated craftsmanship. The unique metal base is composed of tubular feet and a curved plate on which the seat rests.
