A series that became an emblem of 1960s design, an era strongly oriented towards optimism and experimentation in pursuit of absolute functionality.
The proposal, conceived by Gianfranco Frattini, includes four low tables, ranging from 42 to 61 centimeters in diameter, characterized by decreasing heights that can be stacked together in a unique, compact shape, whose sculptural effect recalls the outline of a drum. The walnut-stained beech or black-lacquered beech frame features a natural plastic laminate top with a monochrome, reversible design.
When the top is lifted, it reveals the different color of the underlying surface, lacquered white or black. The model, now as then, is particularly appreciated for the great versatility allowed by stacking.
