A visual dialogue between structure and form, the Naviglio seating collection is composed of curved, linear, and terminal elements, chaise longues, and ottomans. Synthesis is the essence of the project, starting with its name. The seat base acts as a riverbed (alveo) that defines the space to accommodate a backrest/armrest as sinuous as a watercourse. Like a puzzle piece, each shape has been ergonomically designed to create a single cohesive unit. The section of the backrest and the seats reveal a delicate balance between polygons and curved forms, where geometry is softened and rigor merges with comfort.
